Cabin Fever
Here it is the 3rd week of February and winter still has us by the throats.Temperature today is in the low 20's and the backyard is a winter scape of snow. Not even Sam my Labrador retriever is eager to get out there and take care of "business". The groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter...and as much as I like to play in the snow enough is enough. He has been known to be wrong over 50% of the time so who knows? Maybe spring hiking and camping season is not all that far away.

Time to dust off the gear! Hopefully we will get some nice weather soon! I am ready to hit the woods and have some of our good camp coffee not to mention the good grub we cook up on the fire. I miss listining to that big owl out over in the swamp at night. The smell of the spring air and campfire smoke.
